Before you watch it, feel free to download and print the free workbook... we created for the workshop to make note taking easier. Or you can just use your journal.

And if you need some support embedding new habits, my Habit Club could be just what you need. Find out more here…
Over the years I’ve been able to help many people throw off the heavy weight of self-doubt, freeing themselves to be everything they want to be. Letting themselves move towards their dream life. And I absolutely LOVE helping with that!!
Helping you grow is what brings me the most joy!
Enjoy!

00:03:15 Natarlie: Hello everyone π
00:04:08 Rosie McCall: So good to see familiar faces (sorry I am hiding - no camera)
00:05:00 Karen: i can "fear the fear and do it anyway”, i'm alright at pushing myself; but i’d like to get to the stage where I have the self-belief to go for my dreams and overcome that initial hurdle
00:07:03 Anne Nurse: Being out of my comfort zone with retirement makes me doubt my ability to cope with the new experiences I can and do encounter
00:07:08 Rosie McCall: fear of failure

00:24:54 Leanne D: I'm so grateful for your bravery & taking those nervous steps! Your journey has been amazing & we're able to work with you now!
00:25:36 Karen: ditto, leanne. kristina is even more amazing than ever. how inspiring is that display of courage?!
00:28:42 Rosie McCall: Agreed πππ
00:29:11 Karen: the payoff is feeling content and like i haven't wasted opportunities (not living with regrets); on the other side is living a better life (my best life), one that is rich in purpose; and my reason why is to fulfil all my potentials
00:30:15 Natarlie: You are an amazing inspiring beautiful person Kristina. Thanks for your positive energy always π

00:33:49 Anne Nurse: π
00:36:22 Jim: Yep. 100%
00:36:26 Liv: This is my challenges. Always looking to ensure others are happy or putting their needs first.
00:36:34 Anne Nurse: Cooking is a good example - trying a recipe which tastes good but looks nothing like the picture in the cookbookπ
00:37:38 Carrie Leung: letting go of the need to achieve high quality output for everything I do e.g. write a book
00:38:18 Leanne D: Agree Liv!
00:38:22 Karen: i feel challenged when it comes to choosing myself, my dreams over considering other people's feelings (their comfort with the status quo). when I make "necessary changes”, it doesn't always go down well and I "compromise” (give in) and give my power away. i have to choose to be 100% committed to my dream life in order to achieve it
00:39:02 Anne Nurse: As a former lawyer- I agree !
00:41:31 Leanne D: Easier said than done Karen - but I hope you can start to take some small steps towards living your dream life and achieving your dreams π
00:42:00 Karen: thanks leanne βΊοΈ
00:42:27 Natarlie: Being happy with sharing my first drafts for work rather than trying to perfect it before sharing. Progress not perfection...
00:45:09 Leanne D: "Know that you can cope" is the key message I'm hearing...
00:45:13 Karen: π
00:45:13 Natarlie: β€οΈ
00:45:22 Alicia Mellors: π§‘
00:45:36 Tracy Dwyer: π
00:45:48 Meredith Chell: Well done with that Natarlie - that's a great idea! But I know exactly what you mean about wanting your work to be 'perfect' before sharing ha! ha1 ha1
00:45:54 Carrie Leung: β€οΈ definitely especially English is my second language too!
00:46:26 Wendy Cole: Absolutely- previously so embarrassed to speak publicly
00:46:55 Natarlie: Thanks Meredith π
00:47:17 Karen: i like that saying/question: will this matter in five years time if i try and fail? will i care?
00:47:42 Natarlie: Great way to think about it Karen
00:48:00 Rosie McCall: love that Karen
00:49:45 Jim: I’m working on changing careers into horticulture - and nursery work is one of the most exposed-to-the-elements jobs around. I also hate the cold.
00:50:26 Meredith Chell: Yes I LOVE IT: the Will it matter in five years etc ... is a great question to put things into perspective really quickly isn't it!!! I've made a MENTAL NOTE :) I'm going to be asking my silly self that Q every day; multiple times per day - YIPPEE π€©
00:50:30 Jim: This morning I thought “Can I handle this rainy wet weather working outside?”. But dealing with that discomfort, will be just as uncomfortable as sitting down at a computer 8 hrs a day. And one of those difficulties isn’t good for me lol
00:50:38 Karen: four worst things: I will be rejected (2/10); i will fail (5/10); I will feel foolish (4/10); I will be annoying to others (2/10)
00:52:00 Carrie Leung: recently finished a speaking course and there is a “homework" to do a video and post on social media, due to self doubt (unsure how good I can do that or how others will think), then I am holding to do it thinking how could I do that “perfectly" before it's shared. π
00:52:12 Rosie McCall: @jim Yes! and the good news is Jim you will adapt and find it enjoyable after a while (yes the rain and cold) I used to live in NL and have to ride though the rain (just about each day) and after a while I gave into it and embraced it and now I honestly enjoy the rain/cold etc
00:52:52 Rosie McCall: @Carrie you can do it! progress not perfection! ππ
00:53:04 Jim: I’m hoping so Rosie, thank you!! I’ve avoided the rain for so long.. it’s lead me into very boring unfulfilling work.
00:53:10 Karen: @carrie, someone i admire told me last week that jay shetty (think like a monk book) says that he puts out content when it's 70% done because he could spend forever perfecting it and he wants to make sure he shares with the world
00:53:45 Jim: Carrie, post it, your friends will love to see you on screen! (I posted some selfie videos in 2020 and my insta friends thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I felt very stupid on screen)
00:53:58 Rosie McCall: yes!
00:54:46 Carrie Leung: thanks for the encouragement Rosie, Karen and Jim. perhaps let me write down the exercise for this and find my reasons why to do this ANYWAY
00:55:13 Rosie McCall: Yes!!!
00:58:44 Jim: I definitely need to hang that one on my wall! “Start before you’re ready”
00:58:50 Leanne D: Start before you're ready - such great advice otherwise we wouldn't start something new!
01:00:19 Natarlie: Yes such great advice. You don't always need to feel ready and energetic to do something.
01:01:01 Wendy Cole: Kristina - I now regularly hear your question in my thoughts… “What would I do if I knew I couldn’t fail?”
It’s helping me to take action when I’m feeling fearful. ππ»
01:01:16 Karen: @wendy *hugs*
01:03:47 Wendy Cole: And the quote from van Gough
If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.
01:04:04 Jim: Love that Wendy
01:04:11 Natarlie: Beautiful quote Wendy
01:04:55 Rosie McCall: love β£οΈ that @wendy
01:07:07 Jim: I’m going to figure out work placement for Tafe holidays instead of taking on more ordinary work. I have a contact, I just have to feel the fear, talk to my teachers and call the shop owner!
01:07:46 Carrie Leung: 50:50
01:07:50 Leanne D: 50 / 50

01:11:53 Alicia Mellors: A, although I know I will fall back to B at times
01:16:17 Wendy Cole: Jim Rohn
01:16:43 Meredith Chell: Thank you Wendy π
01:17:32 Wendy Cole: One of J Rohan’s many quotes
“We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.”
01:18:09 Wendy Cole: Agh - I’m on my phone - typo Rohn
01:18:12 Rosie McCall: ππ§‘β€οΈ
